Art and Craft
Sculptor, Ceramicist, Artist, Musician. The multi-talented Bill Grace has become an icon in the Arts and Craft Industry in Barbados. Renowned as a Tutor at the Barbados Community College, his students have included former Governor General of Barbados the Late Dame Nita Barrow. Bill Grace is a sound example of the success that the Arts industry in Barbados has been able to achieve. With a philosophy that marries the design and creation of art with the management and sensitivity of the environment, Grace has etched his place in Barbadian history as an artist par excellence. Bill’s work is represented in the Barbados National Art Collection. U.S. President Bill Clinton received one of Bill’s sculptures as a state gift. He designed a stained-glass window for St. James Parish Church that is a favorite of both parishioners and visitors; composes music, and made a trophy for Cable & Wireless’ international cricket series. He has created a mosaic for the new American Embassy for the Eastern Caribbean. |
